The family
Al Maskaria Establishment was founded in 1968 by Her Highness Sheikha Azza Bint Saif Al Maskari, matriarch of the Al Maskari family. From that original establishment, the family's interests grew into a broader group of operating businesses, investments, and commercial partnerships.
Over three generations, those interests have included oil and gas field services, power generation, information and communications technology, defense and security, and impact and sustainability. The family has also represented international companies operating in the UAE and worked alongside government entities, multinational companies, and institutional partners.
Leadership
Nabyl Al Maskari
Executive Chairman
Nabyl Al Maskari is Executive Chairman of Al Maskari and serves as a board director of select subsidiaries and joint ventures. He is Non-Executive Chairman of Further Ventures, a UAE venture builder and asset manager backed by ADQ, and served as Founder and Chairman of MEASA Partners, an Abu Dhabi investment firm with a strategic equity stake held by Mubadala Capital.
Prior to joining the family business as its third generation of leadership, Mr. Al Maskari was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, working on engagements across the financial, petroleum, and public sectors. He continues to advise and support governments, international institutions, investors, and operators on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and market opportunities across the UAE.
Mr. Al Maskari sponsors philanthropic initiatives across the MEASA region through Al Maskari Foundation, the family's non-profit endowment. He is an Aspen Institute Fellow, serves on the UAE University Leadership Council Advisory Board, and is an inaugural member of the Wharton GFA Family Office Roundtable. He is a frequent speaker at conferences organized by the Milken Institute, SALT, and Investopia, and previously served as Chairman of Endeavor UAE.
Mr. Al Maskari received his Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Yale University's School of Management, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rollins College, and is an alumnus of Choate Rosemary Hall.

About the firm
Our work sits where capital, institutions, and markets meet. From the Emirates, we work with institutions across the region and around the world. We originate structures and partnerships as often as we are asked to assess them: a private-market vehicle, an impact mandate, a digital asset strategy, or the assembly of counterparties a new initiative depends on.
We work directly with principals, boards, and leadership teams. Some mandates are advisory; others involve building the structure a partnership runs through and holding a role inside it once it is running.

Al Maskari is the advisory arm that grew from it. Three generations have since worked through Abu Dhabi's development into a center of international capital. That gives the firm a particular vantage point: familiarity with how global institutions operate, and with what it takes to make something work on the ground.
