What we do

Where capital, institutions, and markets meet.

Our four areas of focus cover situations where technical expertise needs to be combined with an understanding of the wider institutional and commercial environment.

01

Strategic Advisory

Complex initiatives rarely fail for lack of capital or expertise. More often, they fail because the right parties are not brought together in the right structure.

We help institutions, investors, and operators navigate that process, identifying the counterparties, capabilities, and relationships an initiative requires, shaping the structure around them, and supporting execution as it develops.

Areas of work

  • Market entry and establishment
  • Counterparty and partner identification
  • Partnership and joint venture structuring
  • Government and sovereign engagement
  • Strategic initiative development and execution
  • Governance and ongoing oversight

02

Capital Markets Advisory

The question is rarely whether a structure can be built. It is what regional institutional and sovereign capital will accept: how a vehicle has to be designed, in what sequence institutions need to be approached, and what their own mandates and constraints permit.

Capital is increasingly delivered through structures that sit between traditional funds and direct investment. We advise sponsors and institutions on the vehicles and platforms that carry it, spanning structuring, product design, operations, and distribution strategy.

Digital assets raise the same question in a different form: not whether an asset can be put onchain, but whether the market structure around it makes it investable at scale.

Areas of work

  • Fund and vehicle structuring
  • Private-market product development
  • Institutional and sovereign capital engagement
  • Fund operations and platform development
  • Digital asset products and tokenization strategy
  • Market infrastructure and ownership records

03

Impact Advisory

The transition to a lower-carbon economy will require substantial long-term investment across sectors and markets. For institutional capital, however, an opportunity still needs to meet the requirements of a defined mandate, risk framework, and return objective.

We advise on investment strategies and structures that connect institutional capital with transition opportunities, including private-market and blended-capital approaches. Our work draws on relationships across family offices, institutional investors, operating businesses, and our research partners.

Areas of work

  • Transition and sustainable investment strategy
  • Blended and institutional capital structures
  • Private-market transition opportunities
  • Investment and market research
  • Institutional and strategic partnerships

04

Investment Advisory

An effective investment function requires clear policy, disciplined oversight, and a consistent view of the portfolio. We advise institutions on portfolio construction, manager selection, investment oversight, and reporting within their existing governance and investment frameworks.

Where a decision turns on a specific opportunity, the work extends to diligence on the manager, the structure, and the terms, assessed against the institution’s own criteria.

Our perspective is informed by the family’s own commercial interests and by the boards, investments, and ventures in which our principals are involved.

Areas of work

  • Investment strategy and portfolio construction
  • Manager selection and investment frameworks
  • Due diligence on managers and structures
  • Portfolio oversight and reporting
  • Investment policy and governance

How we work

We structure engagements on a case-by-case basis around what the situation requires. Some end with a scoped deliverable, while others create vehicles or partnership.

Advisory Mandate

Typically 3–6 months

A defined strategic question where the organization needs experienced judgment, analysis, and a clear path forward.

We work alongside the leadership team through the decision rather than producing a report and stepping away.

External Executive

Typically 6–12 months

When a critical capability is missing, we can take responsibility for it for a defined period.

The role is operational as well as advisory, with responsibility for moving the mandate forward.

Board Advisory

12 months and beyond

Independent perspective for boards, shareholders, and family principals.

The relationship develops over time, providing a consistent external view as decisions evolve and circumstances change.

Special Situations

Defined mandate

A clearly scoped piece of work with a defined question and endpoint.

Situations may involve market assessment, product strategy, partnership development, or preparation for a larger transaction or initiative.

Partnerships & Joint Ventures

Long term

Where the right answer is a shared vehicle rather than a mandate, we take a role inside it.

That can mean a joint venture, a partnership with defined responsibilities, or holding and administering the entity a group of participants operates through.

Who we work with

We work with organizations evaluating opportunities that extend beyond a single transaction.

Governments & Public Institutions

Strategic initiatives, institutional partnerships, and projects involving public and private capital.

Family Enterprises

Governance, succession, portfolio strategy, and decisions affecting the next generation of the family enterprise.

Large Corporates

Market entry, strategic partnerships, new products, and decisions shaped by the regional operating environment.

Private-Equity-Backed Companies

Market expansion, strategic initiatives, and situations where execution needs to align with an existing investment thesis.

Institutional Investors

Private markets, digital assets, impact and transition investment, and partnerships across the region and internationally.

Digital Infrastructure

Chains, protocols, and infrastructure providers developing the registers, custody and settlement layers that institutional participation depends on.
